PAOC HEART Program at Work

December 1st, 2011

We recently visited Pastor David at his church plant in Sadasivpet. This is the church that is being sponsored by our friends at Innisfil Church, in Innisfil, ON. Pastor David has been living in rented accommodation and told me that his landlord has locked him out of his home because he was using it to hold his church services so they are now having to meet in another believer’s home. Pastor David was thrilled when I told him that Innisfil Church has provided funds to help him construct their own church building. Check out the video clip to learn more.

Innisfil Church

September 11th, 2011

Today we had our very first visit to Innisfil Church, which is about 100 km north of Toronto. Led by Pastor Howard Courtney, this thriving community church gave us a great welcome and made it clear that not only are they focused on reaching their local community but also contributing to world missions. To prove the point, they have committed to help construct a church building in Sadasivpet, India, in keeping with the PAOC HEART program. Thanks, Pastor Howard and Innisfil Church for being such a blessing to us and the people of India. We are confident that as you continue to bless others the Lord will give you even more blessings in return (Luke 6:38).

Church in the Village, Toronto, ON

September 5th, 2011

Last night we received a great welcome from the wonderful folks at the Church in the Village, which serves the residents of Shepherd Village, a prominent Christian senior’s residence in the north east part of the city that was founded by the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Pastor Winston Osmond serves with a thriving congregation of seniors who have faithfully continued to provide generous financial and prayer support for missions work all around the world. We are so blessed to know that these dear friends are constantly praying for us as we travel and minister to the churches and the unreached ‘nations’ of India.

King Street Pentecostal Church, Oshawa, ON

August 14th, 2011

What a great reception from our friends at King Street Pentecostal Church in Oshawa today. It was missions emphasis Sunday and King Street sure gets involved in missions, both at home and abroad. While they support four ministries in India (including ours) this week they had a 60 member youth team from their sister church in Gatineau, Quebec, who came to serve the people of the Toronto area with community projects. Keep up the great work King Street, you are indeed a blessing and you can be assured you will continue to receive many more blessings in return (Luke 6:38).

August 9th, 2011

Thanks for such a warm welcome last Sunday from the folks at Hi-Way Pentecostal Church in Barrie, ON. We’re now on home assignment and shared at both morning services at Hi-Way, and received lots of positive feedback from many of our friends there. Pastor Lisa and her husband Jim treated us to a very filling lunch at Appleby’s, followed by an oversized chocolate cookie sundae. You have a great congregation Pastor Todd and we are so grateful of your ongoing support for the work in India.

Joshua Project

May 9th, 2011

The Great Commission requires us to “go make disciples of all nations” – Matthew 28:19. The Greek word for nation used in this passage was ‘ethnos’ which is from where we get our English word ‘ethnic’ to describe a people group, not a country.

At the Joshua Project, a ministry of the U.S. Center for World Missions, you will find lots of information on all of the remaining 6926 unreached people groups in the world. Let your mouse hover over the home page’s global map to see how many unreached people groups are left in a particular country. Take note that, with 2237 unreached groups, India has more unreached nations than any other country in the world.

Pray for India and pray for workers so that all will hear the Good News.
